Description

The 4th Modeling, Estimation, and Control Conference (MECC 2023), proudly sponsored by the American Automatic Control Council (AACC), whose member societies include AIAA, AIChE, APS, ASCE, ASME, IEEE, ISA, SCS, and SIAM, and co-sponsored by the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), is set to take place from October 27th to 30th, 2024, spanning Monday through Thursday. The venue for this exciting event will be the Intercontinental on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois.

MECC 2024 has a clear and ambitious mission: to serve the scientific and engineering communities passionate about the modeling, estimation, and control of cross-disciplinary mechanical systems. It provides a vibrant platform for the exchange and exploration of cutting-edge research in related fields, fostering valuable networking opportunities among colleagues.

This conference boasts a diverse range of features, including prestigious awards, engaging contributed sessions, thought-provoking invited sessions, interactive workshops, specially curated special sessions, enlightening plenary talks, captivating keynote speeches, dedicated student programs, as well as committee meetings, industry-focused programs, and enjoyable social functions. Beyond the submission of contributed papers, MECC 2024 welcomes contributions in the form of invited papers, pioneering frontier papers, proposals for workshops and tutorial sessions, emerging talent nominations for invited talks, and suggestions for special sessions.

We are scheduled to publish MECC 2024 conference proceedings via IFAC-PapersOnLine, which is open access and indexed in EI, Scopus, Web of Science, and INSPEC.
