IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE CSS hosted a lunchtime meetup for young professionals in industry at this year’s ACC in Milwaukee. Recent graduates, as well as graduate students interested in industry positions, attended the event, where they had the opportunity to enjoy a casual lunch and ask questions to their peers on topics ranging from strategies for making connections with industry professionals to career development to the overall experience of a recent graduate working for a private company. Students also had the opportunity to learn more about resources offered by IEEE Young Professionals via a presentation given by Jeff Peters, the IEEE CSS YP representative.
