22nd IFAC World Congress

The 22nd IFAC World Congress will be held in Yokohama, Japan, in 2023. Yokohama City is adjacent to Tokyo and is a cultural and vibrant city where traditional culture and modern technology coexist in harmony.

The congress venue, PACIFICO Yokohama, is at the city center on the shore. It is the largest convention complex in Japan, with large halls for plenaries and exhibitions, and a conference center with many meeting rooms.

The vision is "Wa (Harmony)". In a broad sense, it represents the design of the large harmonious control loop to solve societal problems and to create societal values. From the Japanese perspective, it also means harmony of traditional culture and innovative technology.
